CE to bid farewell to late Vice Premier Qian Qichen in Beijing

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, will depart for Beijing tomorrow night (May 17) to attend the funeral of the former Vice Premier, Qian Qichen, on the next day.

Mr Leung will depart for Hong Kong in the morning of May 18. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
