Temporary traffic arrangement for tram track renewal works in Western District from this Wednesday

     The Transport Department (TD) today (May 15) reminded the public that to facilitate the tram track renewal work in Western District, the offside lane of Davis Street southbound from a point about 10 metres south of its junction with Catchick Street to a point about 15m south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic (except trams) from 10am on Wednesday (May 17) to 9.59am on May 22 (Monday).

     Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on-site to guide motorists.

     The TD and the Police will closely monitor the traffic situation and implement appropriate measures whenever necessary. Members of the public are advised to stay alert to the latest traffic news on radio and television.
