Perfect Concord Limited trading as Rampart Environmental Services was fined $30,000 at Shatin Magistrates' Courts today (May 5) for violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance. The prosecution was launched by the Labour Department.

     The case involved a fatal accident that occurred on July 22, 2016 at a housing estate in Tai Wai. A cleaning worker, while clearing rubbish on the top of a covered walkway, stepped on and broke a plastic panel and fell about 3.4 metres to the ground. He sustained serious multiple injuries and passed away a few days later.
