List of environmental impact assessments in first quarter 2017 released
     The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) today (April 11) released a list of completed and newly commenced statutory environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and non-statutory environmental studies for major development projects between January 1 and March 31, 2017.
     Updated information related to the EIA Ordinance is available on the EIA Ordinance website at www.epd.gov.hk/eia.
Completed statutory EIAs and non-statutory environmental studies in the first quarter of 2017 include:

A. Statutory EIAs:
1. A Rooftop Helipad at the Proposed New Block of Queen Mary Hospital
    (Food and Health Bureau)
2. Kai Tak Multi-purpose Sports Complex
    (Architectural Services Department)
3. Expansion of Sha Tau Kok Sewage Treatment Works
    (Drainage Services Department)
4. Port Shelter Sewerage, Stage 3 - Sewerage Works at Po Toi O
    (Drainage Services Department)
5. Outlying Islands Sewerage Stage 2 - Upgrading of Tai O Sewage Collection, Treatment and Disposal Facilities
    (Drainage Services Department)
6. Proposed Low-rise and Low-density Residential Development at Various Lots and their Adjoining Government Land in DD 104, East of Kam Pok Road, Mai Po, Yuen Long, New Territories
    (Glory Queen Limited)
