Normal service resumes after temporary breakdown of HA telephone booking system of general out-patient clinics

The Hospital Authority (HA) spokesman today (March 22) reported a temporary breakdown of the telephone booking system of the general out-patient clinics (GOPCs) service.
During the period from noon to 1pm today, the operation of the telephone booking system of 31 GOPCs was affected due to the malfunctioning of the facilities of the telecommunication provider. The telephone booking system resumed normal service at around 1pm to receive appointment bookings. The HA would like to apologise to the public for the inconvenience caused.
The HA will follow up with the telecommunication provider to ensure similar incidents do not happen again.
