Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate two public events to be held in the New Territories and Hong Kong Island this Sunday (March 12).

(I) New Territories

     The following roads will be closed from 6am to 9.30am:

- Ting Kok Road between Tai Mei Tuk Road and Bride’s Pool Road;
- Bride’s Pool Road between Ting Kok Road and Wu Kau Tang Road; and
- Tai Mei Tuk Road from a point about 100 metres south of its junction with the entrance of Tai Mei Tuk Bus Terminus to Tai Mei Tuk Water Sports Centre.

     The cycle track along Tai Mei Tuk Road will be intermittently closed from 3am to noon.

(II) Hong Kong Island

     The following roads will be intermittently closed from 3pm, until the crowd is dispersed:

- Westbound Yee Wo Street;
- Westbound Hennessy Road;
- Westbound Jardine's Bazaar; and
- Westbound Queensway.

     Vehicles may not be permitted to leave the car parks along the closed roads during the road closure period.

     Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the areas. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience and take heed of instructions of the Police on site.
