Government to sell two sites by public tender
The two sites are Kwai Chung Town Lot No. 524 at Wing Kei Road, Kwai Chung, New Territories, and New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6582 at Lai Chi Kok Road near Cheung Shun Street, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon. The tender invitation for Kwai Chung Town Lot No. 524 will commence on March 17, and close on April 28. The tender invitation for New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6582 will commence on March 24, and close on May 5.
Kwai Chung Town Lot No. 524 has a site area of about 1,730.1 square metres and the permissible uses are industrial; godown and ancillary office; office in direct support of an industrial operation; information technology and telecommunications industries; research, design and development centre; audio-visual recording studio; media design and media production; workshop for laundering, dry cleaning, tailoring or repair of goods; vehicle repair workshop, vehicle inspection centre or vehicle testing centre; cargo handling and forwarding facilities; showroom ancillary to factory; motor vehicle showroom on the ground floor; laboratory, inspection and testing centre; recyclable collection centre; and a combination of any of the permissible users. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 9,861 sq m and 16,435 sq m respectively.
New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6582 has a site area of about 4,171 sq m and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 30,031 sq m and 50,052 sq m respectively. Both include the gross floor area of Government Accommodation, being a child care centre and a neighbourhood elderly centre sub-base, and a public vehicle park to be constructed by the purchaser.
Land sale documents including the Forms of Tender, the Tender Notices, the Conditions of Sale and the sale plans for Kwai Chung Town Lot No. 524 and for New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6582 will be available for downloading from the LandsD website (www.landsd.gov.hk), and the sale plans will be available for distribution and inspection by the public from March 17 and March 24, respectively, when the particulars of the tenders will also be gazetted.
