"The Voice of Guangdong Saloon Music" concert to bring back memories of Guangdong music of the past
     The concert "The Voice of Guangdong Saloon Music" will be staged in April as one of the attractions of the Guangdong Music Series presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. To bring back memories of Guangdong music of the past, the signature song of Sin Kim-lai, "Tender Feelings Attached to My Love", will be performed by renowned vocal artist Fung Chui-yu, and "Nostalgia" composed by Wong Yue-sang will also be among the highlights of the programme.
     Other attractions will include the vocal pieces "Husband's Belated Return" and "Beautiful Water Lily on a Silver Lake" and the ensemble pieces "In Celebration of Good Times", "Butterflies among the Flowers", "Playing the Lute by the Plantain and the Rockery", "The Love of My Dream", "The Beauty Yonder", "Young Lovers", "Enigma", "The Toll of the Temple Bell", "A Hungry Horse Shaking Its Bells", "Rain Lashing on the Plantain" and "Autumn Moon over a Placid Lake".
     "The Voice of Guangdong Saloon Music" Concert will be staged at 4.30pm on April 6 (Thursday) and at 8pm on April 7 (Friday) at the Theatre of Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre.
