The Returning Officer for the 2017 Chief Executive Election, Madam Justice Carlye Chu Fun-ling, today (February 28) ruled that the nomination of Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor as a candidate in the election was valid.

     This brings the number of nominations ruled valid to three.
