Remaining quotas for plant exhibit competition of Hong Kong Flower Show open for application

     Members of the public are invited to enrol for the remaining entry quotas for the plant exhibit competition of the Hong Kong Flower Show 2017. Applications for the sections below are open until February 17:
 
Section II    Chinese Cymbidium
Section III    Potted Plant
Section V     Foliage and Carnivorous Plant
Section VII  Bonsai Type Plant
Section X     Floral Art by School Children
Section XI    Primary School Potted Plant Growing/Nursing Competition
Section XIII School Garden Plot Competition

     Completed entry forms should be submitted in person, by post or by fax to the Secretariat of the Show Committee of the Hong Kong Flower Show 2017 (11/F, Leisure and Cultural Services Headquarters, 1-3 Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin) on or before February 17. The remaining quotas will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis until each category is full.
 
     Entry forms and rules of the competition are available at the following locations:

(1) the Secretariat of the Show Committee of the Hong Kong Flower Show 2017;
(2) Green Education and Resource Centre (1/F, Kowloon Park Office, 22 Austin Road, Tsim Sha Tsui);
(3) District Leisure Services Offices of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD);
(4) Home Affairs Enquiry Centres of the Home Affairs Department; and
(5) the LCSD website www.lcsd.gov.hk.

     The Hong Kong Flower Show, presented by the LCSD, will be held in Victoria Park for 10 days from March 10 to 19, featuring "Blossoms of Love" as the main theme and the rose as the theme flower. This year's flower show is one of the events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust is supporting the flower show for the fifth consecutive year, and has been the Major Sponsor of the flower show since 2014.
