Fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok this morning  (January 16) in which a 61-year-old man died.
 
     At about 6.17am, a motorcycle driven by the 61-year-old man was travelling along westbound Argyle Street. When approaching near the junction of Argyle Street and Reclamation Street, the motorcycle reportedly knocked down a 51-year-old male cyclist who was crossing the road.
 
     Sustaining serious head injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 7.19am. The 34-year-old male motorcycle passenger and the 51-year-old man were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in conscious state.
 
     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is underway.
