Relocation of Coroner's Court and Obscene Articles Tribunal

The Judiciary announced today (January 10) that the Coroner's Court and the Obscene Articles Tribunal will be relocated to the West Kowloon Law Courts Building (WKLCB), 501 Tung Chau Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, on January 16.
A Judiciary spokesman said, "At present, the Coroner's Court and the Obscene Articles Tribunal are located in the Eastern Law Courts Building and there is a total of three courtrooms. After relocation, the number of courtrooms will be increased to four, together with other support facilities, including witness waiting rooms, a jury assembly room, a waiting room for the deceased's family and consultation rooms."
The Small Claims Tribunal was relocated to the WKLCB and commenced operation on September 19, 2016. Also, the Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts were relocated to the WKLCB on December 28, 2016, and renamed as the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts.
