Fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan

At about 8.34pm yesterday, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 54-year-old man was travelling along Wo Yi Hop Road towards Tsuen Wan. When approaching Lei Muk Shue Estate Bus Terminus, it reportedly knocked down a 67-year-old man.
Sustaining serious back and leg injuries, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in conscious state and was certified dead at 9.56pm.
The LGV driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are underway.
