During his visit, Mr Leung will meet with state leaders and brief them on the latest economic, social and political developments in Hong Kong. He will also pay visits to central ministries.
The Chief Executive will be accompanied by the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Edward Yau; the Director of Information Services, Mr Joe Wong; and the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Ms Esther Leung.
Mr Leung will depart for Beijing in the evening on December 20 and return to Hong Kong in the evening on December 23. The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, will be Acting Chief Executive from Mr Leung's time of departure from Hong Kong to December 21; and the Secretary for Justice, Mr Rimsky Yuen, SC, will be Acting Chief Executive from December 22 to 23.
