Fatal traffic accident in Tai Po

At about 7.30pm, an 18-year-old woman was riding a bicycle downhill along an unnamed driveway at Plover Cove Reservoir. The woman fell onto the ground after the bicycle reportedly lost control and rammed into the railings.
The woman was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 8.47pm.
Investigation will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
