Following is the transcript of remarks by the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, at a media session at the ground floor lobby of the Office of the Chief Executive at Tamar today (December 9):
 
Reporter: Mr Leung, did you receive any possible setbacks from Beijing in seeking re-election? And who do you think should succeed you?
              
Chief Executive: Everyone in Hong Kong can see that the Central Authorities, including the top leaders in the country, have been very supportive of my work over all these years.
 
Reporter: Who do you think should succeed you? What kind of qualities, who do you think, if you have any idea who should be the next CE?
 
Chief Executive: Yes, I have my own ideas. But as I said, I shall support whoever wins the election and whoever is capable of being appointed by the Central People's Government.
