The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

The spokesperson for Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) announced today (December 8) that the clinical services currently provided at Yaumatei Specialist Clinic (YMTSC) at Battery Street, Yau Ma Tei, will be relocated in phases to the new specialist clinics building in QEH starting next Monday (December 12). The new building is named "Ambulatory Care Centre (Extension) / Block T" (the Extension). Some of the facilities and services of the existing QEH Ambulatory Care Centre will also be relocated to the Extension.
The spokesperson said the details of the service re-provision are listed out in the appendix.
Situated next to QEH Ambulatory Care Centre, the Extension is connected by two footbridges to the first floor of QEH Ambulatory Care Centre and Block H taxi stand respectively. The Extension is built to meet the needs of future development and services demand, and also provides quality medical services to patients. The public will be able to reach the Extension through various modes of public transport including by taking the MTR to Jordon station, then walking or taking minibus 57M or 80M to QEH; or by taking different bus routes which will stop at or near Nathan Road, Gascoigne Road and Wylie Road.
According to the spokesperson, QEH has already started to inform patients and residents in the nearby districts of the service relocation exercise through various channels, including distributing leaflets during follow-up consultations and putting up posters and notices. Relevant district councils have also been informed so to ensure members of the public are well informed of the new arrangements.
