Hong Kong Flower Show 2017 commercial stalls to be auctioned tomorrow

Any person who is a Hong Kong permanent resident aged 18 or above can take part in the auctions. Each bidder can bid for more than one stall.
Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the 10-day flower show will be held from March 10 to 19, 2017, at Victoria Park.
The 53 commercial stalls to be auctioned for the flower show are as follows:
* 41 goods stalls, each measuring 5 metres x 5m;
* Five fast food stalls, each measuring 5m x 10m;
* Two fast food stalls, each comprising one stall measuring 5m x 10m and a subsidiary stall of 5m x 5m which shall be operated for sale of soft drinks only under the same licence agreement;
* Four dry food stalls, each measuring 5m x 5m; and
* One book stall measuring 5m x 10m.
Details of the auctions are as follows:
Auction time: 10am to noon
Stall types: Fast food stall, dry food stall and book stall
Upset prices:
Fast food stall: $28,950
Fast food stall with a subsidiary stall: $52,250
Dry food stall: $17,410
Book stall: $14,800
Auction time: 2.30pm to 5.30pm
Stall type: Goods stall
Upset price: $21,720
For one of the fast food stalls, priority shall be given to bidders who are qualified as EatSmart Restaurants under the Department of Health's "EatSmart@restaurant.hk" Campaign. Also, for another one of the fast food stalls, priority shall be given to bidders who are qualified as non-governmental organisations exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap. 112).
Location and layout plans showing the commercial stalls to be auctioned are on display at the following venues:
1) All District Leisure Services Offices of the LCSD;
2) The Lift Lobby at 11/F, Leisure and Cultural Services Headquarters, 1-3 Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin; and
3) All Home Affairs Enquiry Centres of the Home Affairs Department.
