Kwai Chung pedestrian facilities planned

     The Government proposes to construct in Kwai Chung a pedestrian walkway system with lifts to provide the public, in particular the elderly and disabled, with a comfortable, convenient and barrier-free access linking Tai Wo Hau Road and Wo Tong Tsui Street.
 
     The suggested works, gazetted today (December 2), are set out in the Annex. Members of the public can inspect the plan and scheme of the works at the following government offices during office hours:

     The gazette notice, scheme, plan and location plan will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm.
 
     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before February 1, 2017.
