China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited and Sun Kai Construction Company Limited were each fined $30,000 at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts today (November 24) for violation of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance. The prosecutions were launched by the Labour Department.
 
     The case involved a fatal accident that occurred on July 29, 2015, at a construction site in Mui Wo. A worker was suspected to have been electrocuted while clearing up electric arc welding equipment.
