S for IT to attend World Internet Conference in Wuzhen

The 3rd World Internet Conference is co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of China and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. The theme of the Conference this year is "Innovation-driven Internet Development for the Benefit of All - Building a Community of Common Future in Cyberspace". Mr Yang will attend the opening ceremony and plenary session tomorrow (November 16) and speak at the Cross-Strait, Hong Kong and Macao Internet Development Forum on Thursday (November 17).
The Government Chief Information Officer, Mr Allen Yeung, will also attend the Conference.
Mr Yang will leave Wuzhen after speaking at the Forum on Thursday and will arrive in Hong Kong the same evening. In his absence, the Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Dr David Chung, will act as Secretary for Innovation and Technology.
