Fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun

About 5.25am, a taxi driven by a 60-year-old man was travelling along Pui To Road towards Tsun Wen Road. When arrived outside Pui To Road MTR Tuen Mun Station, it reportedly knocked down the 87-year-old man who was using an electric wheelchair to cross the road.
Sustaining head and leg injuries, the 87-year-old man was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital in semi-conscious state and was certified dead at 2.04pm today.
Investigation will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
