106 more nomination forms for Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections received today

The Returning Officer for the Medical subsector today received a notice of withdrawal of candidature from one nominee.
"Nominees are reminded to submit their nomination forms in person to the respective Returning Officers as early as possible. The nomination forms must be received by the Returning Officers before the nomination period closes at 5pm on November 14," a spokesman for the Registration and Electoral Office said today.
For each subsector/sub-subsector, a poll will be held on December 11 if there is contested election for that subsector/sub-subsector.
One designated body of the religious subsector handed in a nomination form today, involving a total of 13 nominees. Five nomination forms have been received since the start of the nomination period, involving a total of 80 nominees. Nominations for this subsector are returned by six designated bodies.
