Labour Department organises seminar on Employment Ordinance

     The Labour Department has called for enrolment for the seminar on the Employment Ordinance on December 14 (Wednesday) at 10am at the Multi-purpose Hall, Henry G Leong Yaumatei Community Centre, 60 Public Square Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon.

     The Minimum Wage Ordinance, employers' obligations under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance and the main provisions of the Employment Ordinance (including wages, leave and termination of contract), as well as points to note for the employment of foreign domestic helpers, will be introduced.

     The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese and admission is free. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and the enrolment deadline is December 7. The enrolment form can be downloaded from the department's website (www.labour.gov.hk). For enquiries, please call 2399 2386.
