Public to vote for the best Transport Department front-line staff

"By holding this election, the department would like to encourage our front-line staff to embrace the belief of 'Putting our Hearts Into It' when providing public services and to continue to uphold and improve our service standards," a department spokesman said today (November 7).
All front-line staff of the Vehicle Safety and Standards Division, the Driving Services Section and the Licensing Section (including the Licensing Unit, the Vehicle Inspection and Records Unit, the Cross Boundary Unit and the Public Vehicles Unit) are eligible for nomination and voting by the public for the best services provided. Members of the public are invited to visit the participating offices during the election period and vote for the best front-line staff for the awards.
A total of 54 awards will be presented. Election results will be announced and the award presentation ceremony will be held early next year.
