Temporary closure of arena and cycling track at Hong Kong Velodrome

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (November 3) that the arena and cycling track at the Hong Kong Velodrome in Sai Kung District will be temporarily closed for improvement works from November 7, 2016 to February 7, 2017 to facilitate the staging of the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in April 2017. Other facilities at the Velodrome will remain open as usual.

     During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at Hang Hau Sports Centre, Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre, Tiu Keng Leng Sports Centre, Tsui Lam Sports Centre or Po Lam Sports Centre in the same district.

     For the most up-to-date closure schedule of the above facilities, the public may refer to the notices at the venue or contact venue staff directly.
