Fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok yesterday (November 2) in which a 23-year-old man died.

     About 10.40pm, a private car driven by a 44-year-old man was travelling along Shing Fung Road towards Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, while three male cyclists aged 20 to 24 were travelling in the opposite direction. When reaching near 33 Shing Fung Road, the private car and three cyclists reportedly collided.

     Sustaining serious head injuries, the 23-year-old cyclist was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 3.41am today (November 3). The other two cyclists aged 20 and 24 were sent to United Christian Hospital in conscious state.

     Investigation will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East.
