DH's organ donation promotion vehicle launched today (with photos)

     The Department of Health (DH) has arranged for an organ donation promotion vehicle to visit the 18 districts across the territory, starting today (November 1), to encourage more people to register their wish to donate organs so that more lives can be saved.
 
     As one of the major initiatives of the territory-wide organ donation promotion campaign "Say Yes to Organ Donation" launched last month, the promotion vehicle features an organ donation-themed computer game, promotion videos and photo-taking services. Members of the public are encouraged to express their wishes at the Centralised Organ Donation Register by completing the organ donation form or online registration (www.codr.gov.hk) on the vehicle.
 
     The promotion vehicle will visit 30 locations in the 18 districts this month. It visited Hennessey Road, Wan Chai (near Southorn Centre) from 10am to 7pm today and will visit Shek Pai Wan Estate in Southern District, Siu Sai Wan Estate in Eastern District, Tat Wan Road in Tai Po, and Man Kwong Street in Central in the remaining days of this week.
 
     The DH will also set up organ donation promotion booths at various locations, including MTR stations, across the territory in the coming two months.
