Yuen Long elevated pedestrian corridor planned

     The Government has proposed the construction of an elevated pedestrian corridor in Yuen Long Town, connected with the Long Ping MTR Station, to relieve the existing pedestrian traffic and tie in with future developments in the area.

     The suggested works, gazetted today (October 28), are set out in the Annex. Members of the public can inspect the plan and scheme of the works at the following government offices during office hours:

     The gazette notice will be available at www.thb.gov.hk/eng/psp/publications/transport/gazette/gazette.htm.

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before December 28, 2016.
