Police are investigating a murder case in Tin Shui Wai yesterday (October 24) in which a two-year-old boy died.

     About 12.08pm yesterday, police received a report from a 39-year-old man that his two-year-old son was found collapsed at his residence on Tin Yan Road in Tin Shui Wai. He then sent his son to Tuen Mun Hospital. The boy was certified dead at 12.33pm.

     Initial investigation revealed no superficial injury on the boy.

     Upon investigation, Police arrested a 22-year-old expatriate woman in Tin Shui Wai last night in connection with the case. She is being detained for further enquiries.

     Post-mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death of the boy.

    Active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long District is underway.
