     The Hong Kong Observatory replaced the No. 8 Southwest Gale or Storm Signal issued at 2.15pm today (October 21) by the Strong Wind Signal No.3 at 5.20pm as Severe Tropical Storm Haima is moving away from Hong Kong.
      
     Public transport service has gradually resumed normal.
 
     As at 5.20pm, a total of 219 people have sought refuge at the temporary shelters opened by the Home Affairs Department. Nine shelters are still in operation.

     As at 5pm today, the 1823 Government Call Centre has received 197 reports of fallen trees.
 
     According to the Hospital Authority, as at 5.20pm, a total of seven males and six females, aged between 22 and 94, have sought medical treatment at the Accident and Emergency Departments at public hospitals during the typhoon period.
 
     The Airport Authority Hong Kong reported that a total of 738 flights have been cancelled and delayed as at 5pm.

     No report of flooding and landslide has been received during the typhoon period.
