HAB urges arts practitioners who wish to seek candidature in 2016 HKADC Nomination Exercise to submit applications as soon as possible

Applicants seeking candidature should submit completed forms together with all the required supporting documents in person or by their authorised persons to reach Instinctif Partners (Hong Kong) Limited, the nomination agent appointed by the HAB, before the deadline. Applications submitted by post, fax or email will not be accepted.
A prospective candidate has to be a voter registered for the 2016 Nomination Exercise and for the particular arts interest for which he or she is standing as a candidate, and must be nominated by at least five subscribers, or 1 per cent of the total number of registered voters in the same arts interest (whichever is higher). A subscriber must be a registered voter of the same arts interest as the prospective candidate and may nominate only one candidate in this Nomination Exercise.
The nomination agent has updated the registered voter lists to remove two duplicated registrations, to include one additional eligible voter and to rectify the arts interests for three eligible voters already on the lists. The number of subscribers required for each of the arts interests for candidate nomination, which has already been announced in the press release issued on October 6, remains unchanged.
