Government disappointed at individual civil service groups not attending Policy Address consultation session
***************************************************************

A Government spokesman today (October 14) expressed disappointment that individual civil service unions did not attend the consultation session of the 2017 Policy Address yesterday as invited. The spokesman said that at this consultation session, the management side and the staff side had conducted frank and constructive exchanges over many issues.

The spokesman stressed that the Civil Service Bureau has all along spared no efforts to strengthen liaison with staff and has been following up on their aspirations in a pragmatic and proactive manner. The Bureau will continue to maintain good communication with various groups through different channels.
