SCED seeks to strengthen trade ties with US in Washington, DC (with photos)

     The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, continued his visit in Washington, DC, on October 13 (Washington, DC, time) to strengthen trade ties with the United States (US).
 
     In the morning, Mr So held a meeting with the US Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security, and Head of the Bureau of Industry and Security, Mr Eric Hirschhorn, to discuss issues relating to trade and economic co-operation between Hong Kong and the US.
 
     Before concluding his visit, Mr So met with the Senior Vice President for Asia of the US Chamber of Commerce, Ms Tami Overby, to exchange views on Hong Kong-US trade and economic relations and update her on the latest economic developments in Hong Kong.
 
     Mr So will return to Hong Kong tomorrow (October 15).
