SFH visits Sai Kung District (with photos)

     The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, visited Sai Kung this afternoon (October 12) to inspect the healthcare services and environmental hygiene conditions in the district.

     Accompanied by the Chairman of the Sai Kung District Council, Mr Ng Sze-fuk, and the District Officer (Sai Kung), Ms Maureen Siu, Dr Ko visited Mona Fong General Out-Patient Clinic to learn more about the facility and services provided, and explore room for improvement.

     Dr Ko then proceeded to Sai Kung town centre to see the shop-front extensions and street hygiene problems. He also inspected Sai Kung Market and Yi Chun Street Refuse Collection Point to have a better understanding of the local hygiene black spots for formulating appropriate improvement measures.

     Before concluding his visit, Dr Ko met with Sai Kung District Councillors to listen to their views on food and health matters in the district.
