Inventing a better life

     The 49th Joint School Science Exhibition held last month saw students tapping into their scientific savvy by coming up with award-winning inventions to break down the barriers of everyday life.

     Sponsored by the Innovation and Technology Commission, 150 local secondary schools took part in the event, along with entries from India, the Philippines, South Korea and the United States.

     Two winning Hong Kong teams recently spoke with news.gov.hk to discuss the inspiration behind their inventions.
