Fatal traffic accident in Pat Heung

At about 5.34pm, the 42-year-old man was driving a motorcycle along Route Twisk towards Kam Tin, while a 44-year-old man was driving a light goods vehicle (LGV) along Route Twisk towards Tsuen Wan. When approaching Shek Kong Barracks, the motorcycle reportedly collided with the LGV.
Sustaining multiple injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 6.25pm.
Investigation by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
