Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong

At about 6.42pm on that day, a light goods vehicle driven by a 43-year-old man was travelling along Hip Wo Street towards Hoi Yuen Road. When approaching Tung Yan Street, it reportedly knocked down the 65-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the female pedestrian was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 5.37pm on September 15.
Active investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
