Fatal traffic accident in Yau Ma Tei

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Yau Ma Tei this morning (September 14) in which a 79 year-old woman died.
At about 9.40am, a public light bus driven by a 68-year-old man was travelling along Man Ming Lane. When approaching Shanghai Street, it reportedly knocked down the 79 year-old woman.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in unconscious state where she was certified dead at 10am.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is underway.
