CE congratulates elected members of LegCo Election

Mr Leung said, "The 2016 LegCo General Election has concluded. On behalf of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government, I extend my congratulations to all the elected members.
"With the goals to serve the community, safeguard the well-being of the public and promote Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability amongst others, the HKSAR Government will endeavour to enhance communication and co-operation with the new term of the LegCo, so that we can perform our respective roles in accordance with the requirements of the Basic Law and establish a constructive and interactive working relationship. The HKSAR Government will facilitate further exchanges between all LegCo members and the Central Authorities as well as local governments of Mainland provinces and municipalities.
"The HKSAR Government and I look forward to closer collaboration with all LegCo members in the future, and together we can build a better Hong Kong.
"I also extend my sincerest gratitude to all the outgoing LegCo members for their contributions in the fifth-term Council."
