The Rio Olympic Games Mainland Olympians delegation attended a reception hosted by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government this afternoon (August 27). They met with people from various sectors of the community at the event.

     Guests at the reception included HKSAR Government officials, representatives of the Central Government organisations in Hong Kong and members of the sports sector. 

     The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung; the delegation leader and Minister of the General Administration of Sport of China, Mr Liu Peng; and the President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, Mr Timothy Fok, gave speeches at the reception.
     
     Members of the public will have a chance to appreciate the athletes' sports skills at the sports demonstrations and the variety show, "A Date with Mainland Olympians", scheduled for tomorrow (August 28).
