     The online exercise to collect views on the discussion topics for the Youth Summit 2016 finished on August 16. The following three topics, selected by most of the participants, will become the discussion topics at the summit:

1) Challenges and opportunities for young entrepreneurs;
2) Roles of young people in community affairs; and
3) Future town planning.

     The Youth Summit 2016, to be hosted by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Commission on Youth, will be held on November 26 (Saturday). It will provide a platform for young people to exchange views on issues that concern them with government officials and other guests.

     The theme of the Youth Summit 2016 is "Tomorrow's Hong Kong, Youth Co-create". To enhance youth participation, an online exercise to collect views was conducted between July 27 and August 16 for young people to choose three out of 10 topics for in-depth discussions at the summit. The exercise gained support from young people, and 2,060 selections of discussion topics were recorded.

     Details regarding the recruitment of youth participants for the Youth Summit will be announced in due course.
