Tenders invited for Elevated Walkway between Tong Ming Street and Tong Tak Street in Tseung Kwan O

The works are scheduled to commence this December and will take about 32 months to complete. The works mainly comprise:
- Construction of an elevated walkway of about 180 metres in length and about 5m in clear width, connecting the existing footbridge across Tong Ming Street to the shopping mall above Tseung Kwan O MTR Station;
- Construction of a lift at the proposed elevated walkway near Tong Tak Street;
- Reconstruction and expansion of the existing cycle parking area; and
- Ancillary works, including associated road, drainage, public utilities, public lighting, landscaping, electrical and mechanical works.
The Works Division of the HyD will supervise the construction works. Interested contractors can obtain the forms of tender and further particulars from the Works Division of the HyD at 7/F, Trade and Industry Tower, 3 Concorde Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
The invitation to tender was gazetted today. The submission of tenders will close at noon on September 30, 2016 (Friday).
