Police today (August 18) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Lantau North on June 15.

     At about 2.15pm that day, Police received a report that a man collapsed on a rock beach near Sha Lo Wan in Lantau North. The man was certified dead at scene. Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

     The deceased was believed to be a male aged between 40 and 60. He was about 1.6 metres tall. His upper body was naked while the lower body was wearing dark colour shorts. No identity document was found on the body.

     Anyone who knows the deceased or has any information to offer is urged to contact officers of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Lantau North Division on 3661 1927.
