Murder in Mong Kok

About 7.11pm, Police received a report that a woman was assaulted in a flat at 2 Wai On Street.
Police officers sped to the scene and located a 47-year-old woman lying unconsciously on the floor in the flat. Sustaining cut wounds to her chest, the woman was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 9.27pm.
Police arrested the woman’s 66-year-old husband and his 57-year-old sister in suspected connection with the case.
A knife in suspected connection with the case was seized at scene.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Investigation by the District Crime Squad of Mong Kok District is underway.
