Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 4) that Lower Cheung Sha Beach in Islands District is temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of the shark prevention net. The red flag had already been hoisted earlier at the beach as the Environmental Protection Department had classified the water quality as Grade 4. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beach.
