Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 3) that Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island, is temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of the shark prevention net. The red flag had already been hoisted earlier at the beach due to big waves. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beach.
