Appointments to Economic Development Commission and its Working Group on Professional Services

     The Government announced today (July 29) that the Chief Executive (CE) has appointed Mr Daniel Cheng Man-chung as a member of the Economic Development Commission (EDC) to fill the vacancy left by Mr Stanley Lau Chin-ho who passed away in June.

     The Government also announced today that the CE has appointed Mr Nicholas Ho Lik-chi and Mr Duncan Chiu Tat-kun as members of the Working Group on Professional Services under EDC.

     The aforementioned appointments take effect from August 1, 2016 to January 16, 2017.

     "We are confident that the new members will bring in new perspectives and insights for promoting the economic development of Hong Kong," a Government spokesman said.
