Please broadcast the following special announcement as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

     The Water Supplies Department (WSD) announced that, owing to a fresh water main burst at Sheung Ling Pei, the fresh water supply to all premises in Tung Chung district and nearby villages will be suspended from midnight tonight (July 26).

     Repair work is being urgently carried out. Normal supply is expected to resume at 6am tomorrow.

     The WSD will set up water tanks at Yat Tung Estate, Fu Tung Estate, Yu Tung Estate, Caribbean Coast, Coastal Skyline, Tung Chung Crescent, Seaview Crescent and the Visionary, and deploy water wagons to North Lantau Hospital, to provide temporary fresh water supply.
