Opening remarks by CS and Chairman of Board of WKCDA (with video)

Today, I take great pleasure in introducing Ms Suhanya Raffel. She has just been appointed by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority Board as the Executive Director for M+. She will report for duty on the first of November this year. Ms Raffel will be responsible for taking us through the next key stage of the M+ project as construction is under way, with completion of works in 2018 and opening of the museum scheduled for 2019.
Ms Raffel brings with her a wealth of museum management experience in the areas of curatorship, exhibitions and collection development, to name a few. Her capable leadership, professionalism and skills will no doubt ensure the successful opening of M+ museum to the people of Hong Kong as well as to the many overseas and Mainland visitors.
Later on, I will invite Victor, Mr Victor Lo, M+ Committee Chairman, and Suhanya to say a few words.
